Welcome
to AStar Golden Retrievers, formally Mainsail Golden Retrievers, established in 1994.
We have owned and/or produced multiple AKC Champions, Specialty Winning, Obedience, Agility titled off-spring. and Dock Diving Titles
We are currently working toward our AKC Therapy Dog Title with Astar Red Rose”Rosie” and Mainsails Once In A Lifetime “Star”
Rosie now has 7 offspring that have been certified through DOG BONES as Pet therapy Teams.

We are very proud of all of them..
One of our biggest achievements(at Mainsail) was having the honor of owning
CH Nautilus Mainsails Hurricane “Glory”.
The 2001 Westminster Kennel Club Golden Retriever Best of Breed Winner.
The other special moment was CH Mainsails Racing the Wind “Spirit” winning
Best Veteran in Show in 2009.
Over the Summer of 2013 Twinkle finished her Grand Championship.

CH Astar All Of Me “Legend” became a Champion September 2018 and has been very active as a Pet Therapy dog
We are very proud of our girl Freedom who has achieved her Dock Diving Senior Excellence iv title as well as Aurora at 10.5 achieving her Dock Diving Jr Excellence ll Title
Hope earned her Novice Rally Titles this year too. Abby has her own reading program started by her dad Legend. Freedom and Apollo will be competing in agility this Fall
The Golden Retriever possesses a loving, loyal, and out going personality which is why this breed is a fabulous family companion. It is our goal to produce sound, quality, multi-purpose companions that will enrich your lives as much as they have ours.
All of our dogs have hips, elbow, heart, and eye clearances.
